For Ruth

Ruth was the previous owner of the house I and my family now live in. Ruth was an artist, as was her husband. Where my studio is, her studio was. Ruth loved orange. Since she and her husband treated us so well in the transaction of buying her house, and since having a studio space has been one of the enabling circumstances bringing me back to painting, I paint her this tribute.
