KAREN BEASLY
"I am kind of an “ADD” artist: I take photographs, paint, and work in fiber (quilting and felting) and currently am trying to combine all of these skills into one product. I don’t know which medium I like the best so I use them all. I like working outside and I love colour."
Karen Beasley was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec and since marrying her husband, John, has lived in Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Virginia, Washington State and Alaska (and more than once in some of these places). They travel extensively to see their friends in these places or to visit her family in Canada and their daughter Bridgit in Portland and son Brendan in Chicago. She has a degree in Art Education from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
