Paul Miles
I began taking photos as a teenager when 100 ASA was the fastest film speed and cameras were not equipped with light meters. In my 20's I took a course at a community college in darkroom work and soon had my own black and white darkroom. My interest in selling photographs did not begin until many years later when, in 1997, I obtained a computer capable of producing color photographs. I started scanning negatives and now have a digital camera. My primary focus is the wildlife in my backyard. I have also done many landscapes around Cincinnati and on our travels.
: I use a Nikon D70 camera and a variety of lenses to obtain photographs my daughter calls "animal portraits". I use Jasc Paint Shop Pro IX to optimize my pictures and I was recently featured in an email sent out by Corel to promote this program. My prints are made on photo grade paper by a Cannon i9900 printer. I mount them, matt them and sleeve them in a plastic envelope.
Please contact me at home to arrange a sale. If you call leave a message as I screen my calls with the answering machine. Payment may be made by check or cash if you are picking up your prints. If your request requires shipping I will determine the cost at UPS and it will be added to the total price.
